Classical music adds a calming ambience to a dinner party, without any distracting awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practice good habits daily. 95% of good health comes down to healthy basics: sensible diet, exercise, sleep, laughter, faith and purpose, common sense, a strong identity, and a good attitude.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be authentic, unless you are running for office.&nbsp;&nbsp;It requires a lot less energy, and makes you unique.&nbsp;&nbsp;Even \u201cflaws\u201d are assets. I marvel at any successful person without OCD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A professor once advised her students to turn to laughter rather than alcohol to deal with the stress of med school.&nbsp;&nbsp;Exercise is another means of dealing with stress while problem solving.&nbsp;&nbsp;These distractions while the brain is still intact is a winning combo, as the answer often lies outside the box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Replace anger and hatred with love and gratitude.&nbsp;&nbsp;We live in a world of gifts and miracles which we did not earn, but inherited from generations past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t be in a rush to get to the wrong place.\u00a0\u00a0Life is a series of choices.\u00a0\u00a0The more choices we make with careful consideration and purpose, the more life\u2019s successes have a domino effect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I highly recommend the&nbsp;Nateland Podcast&nbsp;for easy streaming.&nbsp;&nbsp;Not so distracting that one cannot work with it on in the background, yet one can be assured of entertaining breaks, without negativity or missing a beat.
